The bags are now packed and we are off on our plane to Memphis first thing tomorrow. This weekend brought us in contact with all the groups of people who have been along for this journey. We saw lots of friends and family who came by to see us, hug us, wish us luck. We attended our regular 9:30 mass and Shannon shared herself with everyone in attendance at St. John's through the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick. Finally tonight, we said goodbye for now to the Rebels. We are as ready as one can be for this next step. If only we could take the good thoughts, well wishes, and prayers that have been sent our way and trade each one in for an extra day on this earth for Shannon.
